I’m so excited to be adding the Marriage of Figaro Overture to our repertoire! It was requested by a bride, who will be married this evening at the Yale Club in NYC. As an overzealous opera singer (and fan), I am thrilled to furnish this request!~

Tonight I saw one of our violinists, Alan Grubner, perform in Damrosch Park, Lincoln Center with a 40 piece orchestra accompanying Larry Harlow and Ruben Blades........What a great show!! I sang this at a wedding today and I must say that it is simply one of the most beautiful and appropriate wedding songs I have ever encountered...Right on, Bach! Here is a beautiful version of this piece, sung by the great Dame Kiri Te Kanawa. The piece is called Du bist bei mir. Enjoy!
